It takes over. It completely deactivates the default app when opening any file, and seems to interrupt the sequence. I trashed it, yet still it remains. I should have used my MacClean but just dragged and dropped. Now I can't find the pieces that are left somewhere on my hard drive, so it continues to override the defaults!
